1973 Model Merc 1500

General Information:

This model was painted all "Phantom Black."
The serial number was on a plate riveted to the swivel bracket above and between the clamp screws.
Serial numbers 3502806 thru 3752619 were 1973 models.
Merc 1500E (Short Shaft, Electric Starting with Alternator) and Merc 1500EL (Long Shaft, Electric Starting with Alternator) models were produced. These motors were also produced with factory installed power trim.
